Psychotherapy is diverse:
For me, psychotherapy means creating a safe space for reflecting on the multifaceted journey of becoming. This involves focusing on both current and past challenges, as well as future-oriented questions or decisions.
My role as a therapist is to enable a form of communication that is as free as possible from societal norms and brings to light a narrative that may have been in the dark.
Psychotherapy is intended for individuals experiencing various distressing emotional states:
Psychotherapy can also be for individuals who want to engage in their personal development. For those who seek a better understanding of their own thoughts and feelings, opening up new possibilities for action.
Systemic psychotherapy is a form of therapy that considers human problems and mental health in the context of social relationships and systems. As a systemic family therapist, I embrace an attitude that allows me to understand symptoms or states of suffering as a form of expression. I explore causes and connections, offer ideas, explanations, and language for formative experiences, and work with what proves helpful for the individual I am working with.
Women-Specific Psychotherapy
In psychotherapy, it is important for me to consider roles and expectations surrounding female identities. I strive to adopt a mindful but critical stance towards this field of tension, making it a possible axis of reflection in my psychotherapies.
Women-specific also implies being gender-sensitive, meaning sensitive to the entire spectrum of gender constructions.
Therefore, all genders are welcome in my practice.
Psychotherapy and Skin Conditions
From personal experience with skin conditions, I understand how burdensome it can be when our skin presents itself in a different form than smooth and supple. In a way, our skin serves as a communication organ to the outside world. With this focus, I invite people to dedicate themselves to their skin in a different way than perhaps before. Following the motto:
“Sometimes it itches less when we are allowed to talk about what urgently needs scratching.”
Hypnosystemic Psychotherapy and Clinical Hypnosis by Milton Erickson
Currently, I am undergoing training in hypnosystemic psychotherapy. Further information will be provided soon.
Like all people, I have many roles in my life.
I am a partner, friend, part of a blended family, nature lover, traveler and feminist.
Some roles I’ve had throughout my life, while others are more recent.
I became a registered psychotherapist in 2023.
My interest in psychotherapy began during my studies in cultural and social anthropology. There, I encountered various images of humanity and attempts to understand the human essence and its states of suffering. With a brief detour into gender studies, this period of my life allowed me to develop a particular openness to diverse concepts of life and partnership.
My training as a psychotherapist took place at the Postgraduate Center of the University of Vienna and at the Institute for Systemic Family Therapy in Vienna.
Since my perspective on human interactions is strongly influenced by a gender-sensitive approach, my professional path intentionally led through female life contexts.
But clinical contexts were also part of my journey to becoming a psychotherapist.
Additionally, I had the opportunity to gather experiences in child and youth welfare.
Now, in my own practice, I am currently working with adolescents and adults.
My practice is easily accessible via U6 and tram lines 33, 5 (Station: Lange Gasse) or tram lines 43, 44 (Station: Brünndlbadgasse). I also offer psychotherapy through the online platform “Zoom.”
I offer psychotherapy also as online therapy using a secure tool through video telephony.
You only need a PC or a tablet with a camera and a quiet, secure environment for this.
Online therapy can be an effective option, especially for people with time constraints, mobility issues, or a need for flexibility. Online therapy sessions may also be eligible for partial reimbursement through your health insurance.
45 minutes in individual setting: €120

During the initial session, our mutual introduction takes center stage. We can discuss concerns, expectations, or any doubts you may have. There is space for questions, worries, and wishes. It is entirely up to you whether we should schedule another appointment. This can happen immediately or after you’ve had enough time to reflect. The frequency and duration of the sessions depend on you and your concerns.
Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the agreed-upon time via phone call, SMS, or email. If an appointment is not canceled in a timely manner or not attended, the full fee is to be paid.
According to the Psychotherapy Act, I am obligated to maintain absolute confidentiality about all contents of psychotherapy.
